Ingredients
  1. 1/8 cup unhulled sesame seeds
  2. 1/4 cup raw cashew nuts or 1/8 cup raw cashew butter
  3. 1/2 cup orange juice
  4. 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
  1. Heat a skillet on medium high and toast half the sesame seeds for 2 minutes, shaking often. In your high-powered blender, combine sesame seeds, cashews, orange juice, and balsamic vinegar. Blend for 30 seconds or until well mixed. Chill before use.

Ingredients
  1. 1 large carrot
  2. 1 large tomatoes
  3. 1/2 red bell pepper
  4. 1 clove garlic
  5. 1 stalk celery
  6. 1/4 cup watercress
  7. 1/2 cup loosely packed spinach
  8. 1 red jalapeño, seeded (optional)
  9. Additional cool water to thin mixture (optional)
  10. 2-3 ice cubes to chill (optional)
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into container and blend on high for one minute. If mixture is too thick, take plug out of lid and, while machine is still on, begin pouring water until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately. Remaining mixture will keep 1-2 days in sealed container in refrigerator.

  1. 1 scoop chocolate (or other flavor) protein powder
  2. 1/2 banana, peeled
  3. 1 tsp honey
  4. 1 cup ice
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into Vitamix, then replace lid. Turn machine from 1 to 10, then high. Using tamper, push all ingredients into blade throughout blending cycle (about 45 seconds). Once ice cream is a creamy consistency, you're done!

Ingredients
  1. 15 ounces canned chick peas (garbanzos), drained
  2. 15 ounces canned chick peas (garbanzos), with liquid
  3. 1/4 cup (35 g) raw sesame seeds
  4. 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  5. 1/4 cup (60 ml) lemon juice
  6. 1 garlic clove, peeled
  7. 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  8. Salt, to taste
  9. Paprika for decoration/taste
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into machine and replace lid. Start at Variable 1, then slowly bring up to 10 and high. Using tamper, continuous push all ingredients into blade. You're looking for a smooth, creamy texture. If mixture is not combining, add 1 tbsp of water at a time, then go back to using tamper. Once mixture has reached desired creaminess (1-2 minutes), use a spatula to transfer all hummus to a sealable container, sprinkle on paprika, and transfer to refrigerator. Chill for 2-3 hours before serving. Keeps in fridge up to one week.

  1. 1/4 cup red or white vinegar
  2. 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  3. 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  4. 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
  5. 3/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
  1. Place vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper into the Vitamix container and place lid back on container.
  2. Turn to Variable 1.
  3. Turn machine on and build up to Variable 5. Remove lid plug and slowly pour olive oil through the open center of the top of the container.
  4. Replace clear, plastic lid plug and slowly build speed to Variable 10, then to High. Blend for 10 seconds more. Use immediately, or chill and use.
Notes
  1. Yields 1 1/4 cups. Refrigerate for up to 1 week in airtight container.

Ingredients
  1. 3 pasteurized egg yolks
  2. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  3. 1/2 teaspoon Chipotle Cholula or Tabasco sauce
  4. 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  5. 3/4 cup canola oil
Instructions
  1. Place eggs, chipotle sauce, salt, and lemon juice into the Vitamix container and replace lid.
  2. Turn to Variable 1, then turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10. Flip to High and blend for 10 seconds. Lower speed to Variable 8.
  3. While machine is running, remove the lid plug and pour in the oil in a thin, steady stream through the lid plug opening until all is in and mixture has gotten thicker. This should take about 30 seconds.
  4. Stop machine and stir in any oil still sitting on top of the mayo.
  5. Transfer to a separate container and place in refrigerator. Keeps 2-4 weeks.
